Manish Praja is a final-year M. Sc. student in Environmental Science Specialization in Glaciology at the Department of Environmental Science, Kathmandu University, Nepal, working under the supervision of Professor Dr. Rijan Bhakta Kayastha. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Tribhuvan University and previously worked as a Site Engineer at the Langtang Khola Hydroelectric Project (20 MW, Run-of-River) for Multi-Energy Development Pvt. Ltd. (2022–2024), gaining hands-on experience in hydropower infrastructure in high-altitude Himalayan environments. His research focuses on glacio-hydrological modeling, climate change impact assessment, GIS-based hydropower site identification, and water resources management in data-scarce mountain regions. He has presented his research at World Glacier Day, Kathmandu University School of Management, and the SIAS Symposium on Transforming Local Water Security.
Marcel Adigbegnon is Currently a PhD candidate in Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Abomey-Calavi, I earned a Master’s degree in Applied Climatology from the University of Abomey-Calavi’s Institute of Living Environment (Institut du Cadre de Vie) in 2023, following a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Geography from the University of Parakou in 2017. Passionate about research, I have authored seven scientific articles and co-authored seven others covering topics such as climate variability, land degradation, desertification, bioclimatology, global warming, climate extremes, and the degradation of ecological systems. Since June 2024, I have been a researcher at the University of Parakou’s Laboratory of Climatology and Ethnoclimatology, where I also manage the laboratory’s database. Additionally, I have participated in around ten scientific conferences, seminars, and symposia in Benin and West Africa.
Dr. Habib Isa Adamu is a Lecturer I in the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry at Kaduna State University, Nigeria, where he has served since 2017. He holds a PhD and MSc in Environmental Chemistry from the Nigerian Defence Academy and a BSc in Chemistry from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is currently pursuing an MBA in Human Resources and an MSc in Sustainable Environmental Studies at Ahmadu Bello University. His research interests focus on environmental chemistry, nanotechnology, adsorption, water pollution, heavy-metal contamination, and sustainable environmental remediation. His research has resulted in publications on green-synthesized iron oxide nanoparticles, heavy metals, adsorption of emerging contaminants, pesticide residues, and sustainable remediation technologies. Beyond academia, Dr. Adamu has extensive experience in environmental consultancy, project management, environmental field studies, waste management, and stakeholder engagement. He has worked with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Green Habitat Initiative and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria and the Chemical Society of Nigeria.
