Vladimir Slobodyan
IESPA, Russia
Vladimir Slobodyan is an environmental scientist and executive with extensive experience in environmental monitoring, engineering research, and climate-related projects. He holds a PhD in Geography from Lomonosov Moscow State University, specializing in geochemistry of landscapes and soil geography. He served as Director of the Analytical Center at Lomonosov Moscow State University for over a decade. Since 2009, he has been the CEO of the Institute of Environmental Survey, Planning and Assessment (IESPA JSC), leading projects in environmental engineering, Arctic marine research, satellite monitoring, and nature-based climate solutions. He is actively involved in large-scale environmental monitoring initiatives across the Barents, Kara, and Okhotsk Seas. He also coordinates research projects focused on urban ecological assessment and environmental management technologies
Edwin Martin Pino Vargas
Jorge Basadre Grohmann National University, Peru
Edwin Pino Vargas holds a PhD in Water Resources and has extensive professional, research, and university teaching experience spanning undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs since 1991. His research focuses on surface and groundwater resources, employing remote sensing, satellite image processing, hydrodynamics, hydrochemistry, and isotope analysis. His work also addresses disaster risk management related to droughts and floods, with particular emphasis on hyper-arid environments, especially the headwater regions of the Atacama Desert.
Klaus Fleissner
Bavarian State Research Center for Agriculture, Germany
Klaus Fleissner graduated in 1986 as an Agricultural Engineer with a specialization in Crop Production from TU Munich-Weihenstephan. Following his graduation, he spent over 28 years living and working in Africa, where he gained extensive experience in agricultural research and development. During this period, he also completed his Ph.D. in Plant Breeding. After returning to Germany a decade ago, Fleissner joined the Bavarian State Research Center for Agriculture, where he initially worked on the conservation of Bavarian agricultural plant genetic resources. Since 2022, he has been serving as the Project Coordinator of Future Crop, a program dedicated to introducing new crop species to enhance the sustainability and diversity of Bavarian agriculture.
Jorge Espinoza Molina
Jorge Basadre Grohmann National University, Peru
Jorge Espinoza Molina is an architect, graduated from Ricardo Palma University, Lima, Peru. He holds a Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in University Teaching and Research, as well as Landscape Architecture, and is currently a doctoral candidate in Environmental Sciences at Jorge Basadre Grohmann National University. He has undergraduate teaching experience in the Schools of Architecture at Jorge Basadre Grohmann National University and the Private University of Tacna. His professional practice includes consultancy in disaster risk management, climate change, and building safety. He has published research articles in high-impact journals, with research interests centered on earth sciences, particularly in hyper-arid zones.
Ahmad Gaber
Fayoum University, Faculty of Science ,Geology Department, Egypt
Ahmed Gaber Shidied Ibrahiem is a Professor of Geology and Hydrogeology at the Faculty of Science, Fayoum University, Egypt. He earned his M.Sc. in Hydrogeology (1990) and Ph.D. in Hydrogeology and Hydrogeochemistry (1995) from Menoufia University. With a career spanning over three decades, he has held several key academic and administrative roles, including Dean, Vice President, and Acting President of Fayoum University. He is an active member of national scientific societies and committees in geology, environmental sciences, and water resources. Prof. Shidied has supervised numerous M.Sc. and Ph.D. theses, contributed to international conferences, and serves on editorial boards of peer-reviewed journals. His research is indexed in Scopus, with contributions widely recognized in hydrogeology and environmental geoscience.
