Remote Sensing

Remote sensing is the process of gathering information about the Earth's surface and atmosphere from a distance, typically using sensors mounted on satellites, aircraft, drones, or ground-based instruments. Remote sensing techniques capture data in the form of images or measurements across various wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum, including visible light, infrared, and microwave radiation. These data are then analyzed and interpreted to extract information about the Earth's features, such as land cover, vegetation, topography, and atmospheric conditions
